After Hours Swimming (AHS)

Princeton Mill offers a voluntary pool option known as After Hours Swimming (AHS). This allows PHMOA Recreational Members a limited option to use the pool when Lifeguards are not present.

The Princeton Mill Pool has a card scanner that will automatically open both the main gate and the inside left gate to the pool (the gate closest to the vending machine) when scanned with an active key card. There will be no access to the pool during AHS hours without an active key card.

General Guidelines

  • No life guards will be on duty during AHS.
  • An authorized homeowner must be present when any children 16 years or younger and their guests are using the Pool during AHS
  • Scanner cards will be issued to members in good standing who have complete the required AHS form.  One card will be issued per family.

One key card will be issued to each family who are Recreational Members of the HOA in good standing.  This card will automatically open the first gate into the pavilion area, allowing further pool access during normal operating hours when a lifeguard is on duty (see section on pool operating hours).

Residents who wish to participate in the AHS program must first read and complete a form for After Hours Swimming.  Once this has been submitted to the Pool Coordinator, the resident's key card will be programmed into the inside scanner, allowing pool access during AHS hours (see below).  The completed AHS form (last page only) may be scanned and e-mailed to the pool coordinator at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or delivered in person.

Any resident who previously submitted the AHS forms prior to 2013 is not required to submit the form again for the current pool season. ONLY Members not previously participating in AHS are required to submit signed AHS forms in order to gain pool access during AHS hours.

Please note - there will be a $20 replacement for lost cards.

See the Pool Schedule for specific details regarding time, but basically, the normal AHS hours will be 6:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. daily (8:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday). The pool will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. until 6:30 a.m.

The Princeton Mill Swim Team has daily practice from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday through Friday through June 30.

Also, please note that during AHS, adults must be present with children 16 years old and younger - no exceptions.

Please refer to the file containing rules for additional After Hours Swimming and procedures for having your card authorized for access.
